Easy and classic Italian pizza with salami, bocconcini, and basil.
Ingredients:
  • 285g pkt Lion Pizza Base Kit
  • 125ml water
  • 40.00 ml Leggo’s Pizza Sauce Garlic, Onion & Herbs
  • 85g salami slices
  • 2 bocconcini, thinly sliced
  • 20.00 ml Kalamata Olive Wedges
  • 1/2 tsp Basil Leaves
  • Basil leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 220°C, and generously grease and lightly flour a large baking tray.
  • Follow the packet instructions to make the pizza dough with the pizza base kit and water. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth. Roll it out into a 25cm disc using a rolling pin, then place it on the tray. Let it rest in a warm place for 10 minutes.
  • Spread a gooey layer of pizza sauce over the pizza base, then generously layer on savory salami, creamy bocconcini, and briny olives. Finish with a fragrant sprinkle of dried basil.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the base is golden. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
