Add peppery arugula to your savory salami, sweet caramelized onion, and creamy bocconcini pizza for a burst of refreshing flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large red onions, thinly sliced
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • 20.00 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 2 pizza bases
  • 80ml pizza sauce
  • 50g pizza cheese
  • 100g pkt Oliving Sliced Peperilli Salami
  • 1/2 red capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 100g cherry bocconcini, halved
  • 25g baby rocket leaves
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 220C. In a frying pan over medium heat, warm the oil. Saute the onion for 5 mins until softened, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and vinegar. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5-7 mins until onion is caramelised. Let it cool for 10 mins.
  • On two baking trays, lay out the pizza bases. Evenly spread pizza sauce on each base. Sprinkle with cheese and caramelised onions. Top with Hans Oliving Sliced Peperilli Salami, capsicum, and bocconcini.
  • Bake until the crust is golden and crisp, which should take around 12-15 minutes. Serve the pizzas topped with fresh rocket.
