Spicy green salsa with jalapenos and cilantro, perfect for eggs, marinades, or dipping chips.
Ingredients:
  • 10 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 white onion, quartered
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro, or more to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, cover the jalapenos with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until softened and dull in color. Using a slotted spoon, transfer jalapenos to a blender, remove stems. Boil the tomatoes for 2-3 minutes, then peel and add to the blender.
  • Combine the onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt, black pepper, jalapenos, and tomatoes in a blender. Blend until reaching your preferred consistency.
