Spicy jalapeno, savory sausage, creamy cheese, and flaky crescent rolls create irresistible jalapeno popper pigs in a blanket.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 6 jalapeno peppers, halved and seeded
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste
  • 6 smoked jalapeno sausages, halved
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Lay out the crescent dough on a clean surface, divide it into 12 triangles. Spread each jalapeno half with 1 to 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, then press a sausage half into each one. Put the stuffed jalapenos on top of the crescent triangles, sprinkle with 1 to 2 tablespoons of Cheddar cheese, and wrap each stuffed jalapeno with the crescent dough.
  • Bake in the oven until dough is puffed up and lightly browned, approximately 15 minutes.
