Zesty chicken noodle soup with fresh ginger root, ready in under 30 minutes. Perfect comfort food for chilly days.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 carrots, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 3 slices fresh ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup chopped cooked chicken breast meat
  • 0.5 cup egg noodles
Instructions:
  • Combine broth, water, carrots, celery, and black pepper in a large pot over medium heat. Simmer. In a separate medium skillet, saute ginger, oil, and chicken over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Remove ginger slices before serving.
  • Combine chicken with flavorful broth, bring to a lively boil, and introduce the egg noodles. Simmer gently for approximately 15 minutes until noodles and veggies reach a tender state.
