Jerk Turkey Panini

Spice up your grilled turkey and cheese sandwich with jerk seasoning and juicy papaya.
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices crusty bread, 1/2 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced cooked deli turkey
  • 1 medium papaya, peeled, seeded and sliced
  • 4 slices (1 ounce each) Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeño peppers
  • 1/4 cup jerk seasoning sauce or fruit chutney
Instructions:
  • Butter one side of each bread slice. Place 4 slices buttered side down, then layer with turkey, papaya, and cheese. Top with the remaining slices, buttered side up.
  • Cook the sandwiches in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, flipping once, until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted. Serve with sauce.
