Creamy banana pudding with vanilla wafer crust and sliced bananas. Made with rich evaporated milk.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers
  • 4 banana, sliced
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together evaporated milk, milk, sugar, cornstarch, and egg. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat, add vanilla, and mix thoroughly.
  • Place a layer of wafers in a large bowl or casserole dish. Pour the pudding over the wafers and layer with banana slices. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until cold.
