Only 5 ingredients for these irresistible sweet and salty snack squares!
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 bag (10.5 oz) miniature marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 4 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish or pan by greasing it with shortening or spraying it with cooking spray.
  • Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Stir in marshmallows and salt, cooking for 3 to 5 minutes until melted and bubbly, stirring occasionally.
  • Take the mixture off the heat and delicately fold in both cereals until well combined and the marshmallows have melted and spread evenly throughout.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the baking dish using a large spoon or rubber spatula. Allow it to cool for 15 minutes before cutting it into 6 rows by 4 rows.
