Key lime pie

Classic key lime pie is mouthwateringly exquisite.
Ingredients:
200g wheatmeal or Granita biscuits
25.00 gm ground almonds
20.00 gm caster sugar
100g butter, melted
4eggs, lightly beaten
395g can condensed milk
160ml cream
Zest and juice of 4limes
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 170°C and line the base of a 20cm springform tin with baking paper.
Pulse biscuits until finely ground. Add almonds, sugar, and butter, then pulse until mixture comes together. Press firmly into base and up sides of tin to form a 3cm high crust. Chill in the refrigerator.
Combine eggs, milk, cream, lime rind, and juice until silky. Gently transfer mixture into biscuit crust.
Arrange on a baking tray and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until firm. Allow to cool, then serve with additional lime slices.
