Tender soy sauce-infused Korean beef with shishito peppers and boiled eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound beef brisket, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 3 shishito peppers, or more to taste
  • 3 hard boiled eggs, sliced, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. In a large pot, add water and beef then bring to a boil. Simmer until the meat is fork-tender, approximately 30 minutes. 2. Stir in soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and black pepper. Cook and stir until flavors meld, about 15 minutes.
  • Combine the shishito peppers and eggs with the beef mixture, allowing them to cook together until the meat is fork-tender and the liquids have reduced by two-thirds, approximately 15 minutes.
