Ingredients:
  • 500g beef porterhouse steak, trimmed, thinly sliced into small pieces
  • 82.50 ml MasterFoodsⓇ Marinade Smokey BBQ
  • 1 baby cos, leaves roughly shredded
  • 425g can black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 2 x 250g cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • 176.25 gm sour cream
  • 42.00 gm lime juice
  • 40.00 ml chopped fresh coriander
  • 1/2 tsp MasterFoodsⓇ Mexican Chilli Powder
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine beef with the marinade, ensuring it is evenly coated. Let it sit for 15 minutes to enhance the flavors, giving it a toss halfway through.
  • While you wait, prepare the Creamy Lime Dressing by mixing sour cream, lime juice, coriander, and chili powder in a bowl. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Preheat a greased grill pan or barbecue over medium heat. Cook beef in 2 batches until charred and cooked through, then transfer to a bowl.
  • In a large serving bowl, create layers of beans and lettuce. Combine tomatoes with half of the onion and arrange them in the bowl. Drizzle two-thirds of the dressing over the salad. Top with avocado and beef, then drizzle the remaining dressing on top. Finish by sprinkling the remaining onion and coriander sprigs. Serve and enjoy!
