Wholesome salad bursting with water chestnuts, peas, tomato, bacon, and a tangy dressing. Savor every bite and crave more!
Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 head lettuce, torn into small pieces
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen green peas
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 pound bacon - cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, gently submerge the eggs in water until they are completely covered. Bring the water to a vigorous boil, then cover the saucepan, turn off the heat, and allow the eggs to sit for 12 minutes. Afterward, carefully remove the eggs and chill them before serving.
  • Create a beautiful bed in a 9x13 inch dish with layers of fresh lettuce, crisp onion slices, crunchy water chestnuts, and vibrant peas.
  • Mix mayonnaise, sugar, seasoned salt, and garlic powder in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread evenly over the peas, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
  • Peel and dice hard-boiled eggs.
  • Take the salad out of the refrigerator and generously garnish it with crispy bacon, boiled eggs, and ripe tomatoes. Enjoy your delicious dish!
