Leek, cauliflower and pumpkin puree (age 8 months)

Nourish your little one with a delicious homemade vegetable puree for optimal growth.
Ingredients:
  • 1/3 small leek (white part only), thinly sliced, washed, drained
  • 250g Jap pumpkin, peeled, seeded, finely chopped
  • 250ml water
  • 120g cauliflower
  • 40.00 ml coarsely grated cheddar
Instructions:
  • In a small frying pan over gentle heat, warm the oil. Add the leek and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Cook the pumpkin with ½ cup (125ml) water, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until tender.
  • Add the cauliflower and cook until tender, approximately 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Blend the vegetables, water, and cheese in a food processor until smooth. Serve while warm.
