Leftover get-ahead gravy bake

Elevate your cottage pie with a buttery mash topping infused with rich Get-ahead gravy for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 820 g Get-ahead gravy leftovers (make sure you’ve removed all the bones, see tip)
  • 3 tablespoons Get-ahead gravy
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 40 g unsalted butter
  • 50 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6. Spread the Get-ahead gravy leftovers in a dish, season, and mix well. Peel and quarter the potatoes, then boil in salted water for 20 minutes until tender. Drain, then return to the pan. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash the potatoes until smooth. Spread the mash over the gravy, fluff the surface with a fork, drizzle with olive oil, and season. Bake for 45 minutes until golden and bubbling. Sprinkle with rosemary and bake for a further 15 minutes.
