Lemon condensed milk buttercream icing recipe

Upgrade your lemon frosting with the rich goodness of sweetened condensed milk for a delectably smooth and easy treat.
Ingredients:
  • 500g salted butter, chopped and softened
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 lemons, rind finely grated
  • 400g tub lemon curd
  • Yellow liquid food colouring, to tint
Instructions:
  • Beat butter in a bowl with electric beaters for 6 minutes until pale and creamy, scraping down the sides with a spatula as needed. Gradually add condensed milk with beaters on low, then increase speed and beat for 2 more minutes until fully combined.
  • Combine lemon rind, lemon curd, and a dash of yellow food coloring in a bowl. Using electric beaters, mix for 60-90 seconds until fully incorporated. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag with a 9mm star nozzle and pipe as desired.
