Elevate Thanksgiving with zesty cranberry applesauce with lemon and ginger.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
  • 2 large apples - peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup lemonade concentrate
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Combine cranberries, apples, water, sugar, and lemonade concentrate in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, then simmer over medium-low heat.
  • Combine the ginger and salt with the cranberry mixture, then simmer until the cranberries burst and apples are tender, approximately 20 minutes. Refrigerate to chill.
