Herbed chicken with creamy lemon-wine mushroom sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup dry white wine
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
Instructions:
  • Mix flour, thyme, basil, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a shallow dish. Coat chicken in the mixture, shaking off any extra flour.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook chicken until fully cooked. In a medium bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, wine, and lemon juice, then pour over chicken.
  • Simmer covered for 20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and serve garnished with parsley, capers, and lemon zest.
