"Refreshing lemon posset, a creamy chilled dessert topped with fruit or paired with shortbread."
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 3 lemons, juiced
  • 3 tablespoons additional heavy cream for topping
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, blend 3 cups of cream and sugar. Bring to a boil, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes. Add lemon juice and stir.
  • Transfer the mixture into serving glasses and chill until firm for about 5 hours. Drizzle a touch more cream over the tops right before serving.
