Lemon Pudding Poke Cake

Irresistible lemon poke cake, a favorite among dessert enthusiasts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (2-layer size) white cake mix
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1.3333333730698 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 quart cold milk
  • 2 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Lemon Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
Instructions:
  • Bake cake mix as instructed on package for 13x9-inch baking pan with egg whites, water, and oil. Once baked, poke holes using a wooden spoon handle or a plastic straw at 1-inch intervals.
  • In a large bowl, pour milk and add dry pudding mixes. Whisk vigorously for 2 minutes until smooth. Pour half of the pudding over warm cake and into holes for stripes. Let the remaining pudding thicken slightly, then swirl it over the top of the cake to frost it.
  • Chill for a minimum of 1 hour or until you're ready to enjoy. Cut into 24 squares and keep refrigerated.
