Turkey cretons spread, a lighter twist on the classic recipe, perfect for pairing with bread or crackers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1.5 cups water, divided
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.125 teaspoon sage
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package unflavored gelatin (such as Knox ®)
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine ground turkey, 1 cup water, onion, cloves, sage, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 45 minutes, gently mashing ingredients with a spatula; remove from heat when done.
  • Combine gelatin and remaining 1/2 cup of water, then stir it into the turkey mixture. Transfer the mixture to a small container and refrigerate until cool, approximately 1 hour.
