Warm or cold apple pie-inspired winter drink made with apple cider, ginger ale, whiskey, and rum.
Ingredients:
  • 1 gallon apple juice
  • 1 (2 liter) bottle cold ginger ale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pint whiskey
  • 1 pint spiced rum
  • 3 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
Instructions:
  • Combine apple juice, ginger ale, and brown sugar in a large pot and simmer for 20 minutes. Cool to room temperature, then stir in whiskey and spiced rum. Let sit for 1 hour. Pour into 1 gallon jugs, add a cinnamon stick to each, cover, and store until serving. Avoid overheating to preserve the alcohol content. Enjoy warm when ready to serve.
