Sweet, smoky, and spicy venison jerky with brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, liquid smoke, spices, and hot pepper sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.5 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 pound venison, cut into 1/4 thick strips
Instructions:
  • Combine teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, soy sauce, liquid smoke, pepper, onion powder, garlic salt, lemon juice, paprika, and hot pepper sauce in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add venison strips and toss well to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours, stirring occasionally for even marination absorption.
  • Take out the marinated venison strips, gently squeeze off any excess liquid, and dispose of the remaining marinade. Place the venison on the food dehydrator racks in a single layer.
  • Dehydrate venison on High for approximately 4 hours until dried but flexible. Jerky should bend without snapping. Keep jerky in an airtight container or resealable plastic bag for storage.
