Irresistible cheese and bacon mashed potatoes disappear in a blink. Double the batch for guaranteed crowd-pleasing success!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound red potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (3 ounce) can bacon bits
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • In a large pot, cover the potatoes with lightly salted water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until tender. Drain and let them steam dry for a minute or two.
  • Create velvety mashed potatoes by blending in cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, bacon, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Once thoroughly mixed, transfer to a serving dish and top with Parmesan cheese for an elegant touch.
