Indulge in these irresistible chocolate nut bars.
Ingredients:
  • 20 thin chocolate wafer cookies, crushed (about 1 1/4 cups)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/3 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bars (1.4 oz each) Heathtoffee bars, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch square pan. Combine crushed cookies and melted butter in a small bowl, then press the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together brown sugar and 2/3 cup of butter using an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla and eggs until well combined. Gradually add flour and salt on low speed. Gently fold in toffee candy, pecans, and chocolate chips. Spread the mixture over the crust.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes or until fully set. Let it cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack, then cut into 6x6 squares.
