Indulgent bacon-wrapped filet mignons topped with lobster or crab for a luxurious dinner party or romantic evening.
Ingredients:
  • 4 (8 ounce) filet mignon (beef tenderloin)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 0.5 cup butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoon OLD BAY® Seasoning
  • 8 ounces lobster tail, cleaned and chopped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to Broil at 500°F (260°C).
  • Season tenderloins generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Wrap each filet in bacon and secure with a toothpick. Broil on a pan to your liking, approximately 8 to 10 minutes per side for medium rare.
  • While the tenderloins cook, melt 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat with 1/2 teaspoon of Old Bay® seasoning. Add chopped lobster meat and cook until done. Spoon the lobster meat over the cooked tenderloins, then broil until the lobster meat starts to brown.
  • After the lobster is in the oven, warm 1/4 cup of butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until it turns hazelnut brown. Drizzle the browned butter over the steaks before sprinkling with the remaining Old Bay® seasoning to serve.
