Transform cheap meat with a flavorful marinade of soy sauce, oil, ketchup, oregano, and garlic. Let it sit overnight, then grill to perfection for juicy, tender slices.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 (2 pound) flank steak or round steak
Instructions:
  • Combine minced garlic, soy sauce, oil, ketchup, oregano, and black pepper in a bowl. Poke meat with a fork on both sides. Place meat and marinade in a big resealable bag. Chill for 8 hours or overnight.
  • Heat up the grill until it reaches a medium-high temperature.
  • Prepare the grill grate by lightly oiling it. Place the steak on the grill and discard the marinade. Grill each side for 5 to 8 minutes, adjusting for thickness. Aim for a rare doneness, being cautious not to overcook.
