Seasoned chicken breasts with zesty lemon drizzle, ideal for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken breast halves
  • 4 lemons, cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2.5 cups water, divided
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Arrange chicken skin-side up in a baking dish. Season with half of the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Flip the chicken and season with the remaining salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken, then discard the lemons. Pour 1 cup of water into the baking dish.
  • Roast the chicken in the oven that's been preheated for 30 minutes.
  • Combine the remaining 1 1/2 cups of water with the chicken bouillon in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour this flavorful mixture over the chicken, ensuring the skin is facing up. Bake the chicken in the oven until the skin is beautifully golden and crispy, and the meat is fully cooked and juicy, approximately 45 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness - it should read 165°F (74°C) when inserted near the bone.
