Celebrate Australia Day with a vibrant and nutritious muesli that will have you feeling patriotic.
Ingredients:
  • 200g rolled oats
  • 40.00 ml macadamia (see note) or sunflower oil
  • 150g unsalted macadamias
  • 24.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 110g brown sugar
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 50g dried banana chips
  • 50g dried cranberries
  • 25g glace ginger (optional - see note)
  • Milk, to serve
  • Yoghurt, to serve
  • Honey, to serve
  • Fresh fruits, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C.
  • Mix together the oats and oil until well combined, then evenly spread the mixture onto a baking tray. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the oats start to turn golden brown. Take the tray out of the oven.
  • Add the oats back to the bowl along with nuts, sesame seeds, sugar, and honey. Stir until well combined. Spread the mixture onto the tray and roast for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and toasty. Let it cool down, then mix in banana chips, cranberries, and ginger. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month. When serving, enjoy with milk, yogurt, honey, and fresh fruit.
