Simple yet sophisticated.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound almond paste
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons cake flour
  • 0.33333298563957 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine almond paste, white sugar, and egg whites until well blended. Add confectioners' sugar, flour, and salt, mix until smooth.
  • Shape dough using a cookie press or drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Allow dough to rest covered for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • After baking for 25 minutes, uncover the baking sheets and allow the macaroons to cool. Gently peel off the macaroons.
