Host an unforgettable wizard or witch themed party with these magical wands.
Ingredients:
  • 375g Milk Chocolate Melts (see Notes)
  • Assorted lollies, to serve
  • Sprinkles, to serve
  • Popping candy, to serve
  • 100g white chocolate melts
  • 8 long licorice twists (see Notes)
  • Gold glitter sparkle sugar (see Notes)
  • 3 large kiwifruit
  • 1/4 seedless watermelon
  • 1/2 rockmelon
  • 1/2 honeydew melon
  • 6 slices thick white bread
  • 40g butter, softened
  • 125.00 ml hundreds and thousands
Instructions:
  • Prepare Licorice Sparkle Wands: Microwave white chocolate in a microwave-safe mug until melted and smooth, stirring halfway through. Dip one end of a licorice twist into the chocolate, then coat with sparkle sugar. Place in a tall glass, chocolate-end up, to set for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare Fruit Salad Wands: Trim ends off kiwifruit and slice each into 3 thick rounds (you need 8 rounds). Cut a star from each round using a 4cm star-shaped cutter. Use a melon baller to scoop 8 balls from the melon. Thread 1 kiwi star and 3 melon balls onto each of the 8 skewers.
  • Cut 3 stars from each slice of bread using a star cutter, totaling 16 stars. Spread butter on one side of the stars. Place hundreds and thousands on a plate and press the buttered side of the stars into the sprinkles to coat. Thread 2 stars onto each of the 8 skewers to create Fairy Bread Wands.
  • Add milk chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and heat on MEDIUM-HIGH (75%), stirring with a metal spoon every 30 seconds, until melted and smooth which should take about 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the melted chocolate to another bowl.
  • Set up a Wand Bar with bamboo skewers, melted chocolate, assorted lollies, sprinkles, and popping candy for kids to create their own magical wands.
