Elevate your game-day spread with our zesty Mango Avocado Salsa topped with spicy bacon. Packed with fresh flavors and easy to prepare, this colorful snack is sure to please any crowd.
Ingredients:
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 ripe avocados, pitted, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large ripe mango, seed removed, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 jalapeño chile, chopped, if desired
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Food Should Taste Good® blue corn tortilla chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and cover a cookie sheet with foil.
  • Lay out bacon slices on a baking sheet and season both sides generously with paprika, chili powder, and red pepper flakes.
  • Place in the center of the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Allow it to cool and firm up. Once cooled, finely chop the bacon.
  • Combine chopped bacon, avocados, mango, onion, and chile in a bowl. Drizzle with lime juice and gently toss to mix. Allow flavors to meld at room temperature. Serve with tortilla chips and refrigerate any leftovers.
