Elevate your BBQ with this refreshing mango salsa, the perfect pairing for creamy avocado.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large mango (14 ounces), cut into 1/2-inch chunks, about 1 cup
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, minced about 1/4 cup
  • 2 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lime juice, from 1 large lime
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • 4 medium, ripe Hass avocados
Instructions:
  • In a generous bowl, mix together the mango, cilantro, and red onion using a large spoon until well combined.
  • Thirty minutes before serving, peel and dice the avocados into 1/2 to 1-inch pieces. Combine the avocado, lime juice, and salt with the mango in a bowl, gently mixing everything together.
  • Place the salsa in the fridge for 30 minutes to enhance the flavors. Once chilled, taste and add salt as needed.
  • Presentation: Serve the zesty salsa alongside freshly warmed tortilla chips. Refrigerate any remaining salsa, covered, for optimal freshness for up to 2 days.
