Tropical mango chunks make a refreshing sweet and sour frozen margarita perfect for summer days.
Ingredients:
  • Salt, for rimming, optional
  • 8 ounces (1 cup) Blanco tequila
  • 3 ounces (scant 1/2 cup) freshly squeezed lime juice from about 1 lime
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) orange liqueur, like Cointreau
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) orange juice
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) simple syrup (or more to taste)
  • 4 cups (20 ounces) frozen mango chunks
  • 2 cups ice cubes
Instructions:
  • Prepare the glassware: Spread salt on a plate slightly larger than the cocktail glass. Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of the glass generously. Dip the outer rim of the glass into the salt. Repeat for remaining glasses.
  • To make the margarita, combine Blanco tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, orange juice, simple syrup, frozen mango chunks, and ice in a blender. Blend on high until smooth, usually taking 1-2 minutes depending on your blender's power.
  • Enjoy immediately: Pour the chilled margaritas into the prepared glasses and serve. Feel free to leave a rating below if you enjoyed this recipe!
