Elevate bangers and mash with a mouthwatering maple and onion glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 8 Pork Sausages
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 red onion, cut into thick wedges
  • 80ml maple syrup
  • 62.50 ml sage leaves
  • Mashed potato, to serve
  • Steamed greens, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, heat oil. Cook sausages, turning occasionally, for 7-8 minutes until browned all over and fully cooked.
  • Sauté the onion in the pan until just softened, then add the garlic, maple syrup, and sage. Bring to a simmer and cook uncovered until the syrup thickens and coats the sausages.
  • Serve the mashed potato and steamed greens on plates, then generously top with the sausage mixture before enjoying.
