Indulgent pecan pie made with layers of pecans, maple syrup, whipped cream, and more. Bake to perfection and enjoy this decadent treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Evenly distribute the nuts on top of the pie shell.
  • Combine the butter or margarine, vanilla, and flour until well mixed. Beat the eggs, then blend them into the flour mixture. Stir in the salt, maple syrup, and cream. Pour the filling over the nuts in the pie shell, ensuring they are fully covered to prevent burning.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
