Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1.25 cups pecan halves or pieces
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and position the rack in the lowest position.
  • In a large bowl, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until thoroughly mixed. Add pecans and ensure they are coated, then transfer the batter into the pie shell.
  • Bake on the lower rack of the preheated oven until the pie shell turns golden brown and the filling is firm, for about 35 to 40 minutes.
