Make a delicious walnut maple tart filling with eggs, lemon, and butter. Spoon into tart shells, bake, and top with whipped cream for a sweet treat.
Ingredients:
  • 12 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Whisk the egg delicately with a fork, and combine it with maple syrup, melted butter, brown sugar, lemon juice, and nuts. Fill the tarts 2/3 of the way full.
  • Bake until golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
