Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.25 cups maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1.5 teaspoons maple flavored extract
  • 1 cup walnut halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine brown sugar and flour in a saucepan. Stir in maple syrup, butter, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the butter is melted.
  • Whisk eggs in a medium bowl with rich maple flavor. Mix in the sugar blend. Pour the mixture into the pie shell and top with a generous sprinkle of walnuts.
  • Place your creation in the oven that has been preheated, and let it bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the filling is perfectly set.
