Maple Walnut White Chocolate Chip Cookies

Award-winning Fall 2010 cookie jar recipe with just 6 simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavor
  • 1 1/2 cups white vanilla baking chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, mix together the cookie mix, butter, maple flavor, and egg until a soft dough forms. Add baking chips and walnuts, and stir to combine.
  • Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing 2 inches apart, using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon.
  • Bake until edges are golden brown, about 13-14 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Store covered at room temperature.
