Elevate bacon slices with maple syrup and apple for a nostalgic twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb thick-cut bacon (about 12 slices)
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons apple jelly
  • Freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.
  • Arrange the bacon slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and drain excess fat.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the syrup and jelly together until the jelly melts and the syrup is heated through. Take off the heat.
  • Brush bacon with half of the syrup mixture until moistened, then sprinkle with pepper. Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Flip the bacon over, generously brush it with the remaining syrup mixture, sprinkle with pepper, and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the bacon is beautifully glazed and perfectly cooked. Serve while still warm for an irresistible treat.
