Indulgent maple-vanilla brown sugar syrup perfect for pancakes, waffles, and French toast.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon imitation maple flavor
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine white sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, and water over medium-high heat. Let it come to a boil, then lower the heat to medium, cover, and simmer for 8 minutes. Add maple extract and vanilla, stir well. Allow the mixture to cool completely before transferring it to glass jars, covering them, and refrigerating.
