Holiday classic ham with pineapples, cloves, and sweet maple syrup glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 pound) boneless ham
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple slices, canned in syrup
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Pierce the ham with a fork, then layer on the pineapple slices secured with toothpicks. Gently press in the cloves, then transfer the ham to a baking dish with water.
  • 1. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, then stir in the syrup, brown sugar, and honey until warm. Drizzle half of the mixture over the ham.
  • Roast the ham in the preheated oven for 1.5 hours, basting regularly with the leftover butter and syrup mixture.
  • Take the ham off the heat and transfer the pan drippings to a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until thickened, then serve with the ham.
