Delicious margarita cake with tequila-lime glaze for a fabulous celebration dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package orange cake mix
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.66666668653488 cup water
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup tequila
  • 2 tablespoons triple sec liqueur
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tequila
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a cozy 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you prepare your 10-inch Bundt pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, water, lemon juice, 1/4 cup tequila, and 2 tablespoons triple sec until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer for about 2 minutes.
  • Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to prepare the glaze.
  • For the glaze: Mix confectioners' sugar, 1 tablespoon tequila, 2 tablespoons triple sec, and 2 tablespoons lime juice in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cake.
