Delicious cauliflower crust pizza topped with pesto, chicken sausage, perfect for any family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 CAULIPOWER® Cauliflower Pizza Crust
  • 3 tomatoes, halved and sliced
  • 0.33333334326744 cup prepared pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 link fully cooked roasted red pepper and Asiago chicken sausage, sliced into thin rounds
  • 0.33333334326744 cup pesto sauce
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Lay out tomato slices on paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Prepare your pizza crust on a baking sheet or baking steel. Evenly spread pizza sauce over the crust, followed by shredded mozzarella. Layer tomato slices, fresh mozzarella, and chicken sausage. Finally, dot with pesto sauce.
  • Bake in the hot oven until the cheese is gooey and the crust is perfectly golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Sprinkle torn basil over the dish right after taking it out of the oven.
