Marshmallow topping: Melt marshmallows with hot sugar syrup for a sticky, sweet delight.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2.5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 8 ounces chopped marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over low heat, mix sugar, milk, butter, and corn syrup until sugar dissolves. Increase heat and bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Melt marshmallows in a double boiler with water until smooth and creamy.
  • Blend the melted marshmallows into the hot syrup mixture until fully incorporated. Take off the heat and mix in the vanilla.
