Indulgent marshmallow peanut butter butterscotch cake with crispy rice topping.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup flour
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 (16 ounce) package miniature marshmallows, or more to taste
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 (6 ounce) package butterscotch chips
  • 1.5 cups crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine flour, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until well mixed, then transfer to a prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden, approximately 20 minutes. Then, top the cake layer with marshmallows and bake for an additional 2 minutes until puffed.
  • Combine creamy peanut butter and rich butterscotch chips in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth; mix in crispy rice cereal. Spread the luscious peanut butter blend over the fluffy marshmallow base; allow to cool entirely before slicing into delectable bars.
