Easy and nostalgic marshmallow popcorn balls - a kid-favorite sweet treat made with fresh popcorn, butter, and mini marshmallows.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup unpopped popcorn
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cups miniature marshmallows
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it with cooking spray and then set it aside.
  • In a 4-quart saucepan over high heat, warm oil. Add popcorn kernels and cover, allowing them to pop fully while occasionally shaking the pan. Take off the heat and transfer the popcorn to the dish.
  • In a saucepan, gently melt butter over low heat. Stir marshmallows into the warm butter until smooth. Pour the marshmallow mixture over popcorn and mix well with a spoon until evenly coated.
  • Let the mixture cool until easy to handle. Grease your hands with cooking spray and form 8 equal popcorn balls.
