Festive holiday popcorn with marshmallow creme and red/green candies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 bag (3.5 oz) microwave popcorn (any variety)
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
  • Small colorful candies, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and lightly spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • Prepare a bag of microwave popcorn according to package instructions, then carefully remove and discard any unpopped kernels.
  • Transfer the marshmallow creme from the jar into a medium-sized microwavable bowl. Microwave the bowl uncovered on High for about 2 minutes, remembering to give it a good stir after 1 minute, until the creme is fully melted.
  • Add popcorn to luscious marshmallow creme, ensuring no unpopped kernels are included. Mix with care until fully coated.
  • Arrange the popcorn on a baking sheet, then evenly sprinkle with candies. Bake for about 10 minutes, remembering to stir halfway through the baking time, until the marshmallow coating is dry. Allow the popcorn to cool completely on the baking sheet placed on a cooling rack for approximately 30 minutes, then break up any large pieces.
