Indulge in exquisite snowflake cookies adorned with white icing and sugar for a stunning Christmas treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pouch (7 oz) white cookie icing
  • Coarse white sparkling sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Start by creaming the butter in a large bowl using an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar while beating thoroughly. In a small bowl, combine flour and salt, then slowly incorporate it into the butter mixture until well blended.
  • Roll the dough on a floured surface until it's 1/8-inch thick. Use a 2-inch snowflake-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes, then place them 1 inch apart on cookie sheets.
  • Bake until edges are lightly browned, 11 to 13 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks. Once completely cooled, decorate with white icing and sprinkle with sparkling sugar. Store in a tightly covered container at room temperature between sheets of waxed paper.
