Impress guests with adorable and delicious winter-themed treats!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (7 or 8 oz) marzipan or almond paste
  • 56 slivered almonds (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 8 round chocolate-covered peppermint candies (1 1/2 inches each), unwrapped
  • Multi-colored oblong candy sprinkles
  • 2 packages (0.75 oz each) fruit snack in three-foot rolls (any flavor)
  • 8 small gumdrops
Instructions:
  • Shape the marzipan into a log and cut it into 8 portions. Form each portion into a large (1 1/4-inch), medium (1-inch), and small (3/4-inch) ball.
  • For each snow person, create a cute face by poking a slivered almond into the center of a chocolate-covered peppermint candy. Stack the candies to form the snow person, adding almonds for the eyes and buttons along the way. Enjoy your adorable snow people!
  • Pierce snowman's face with a toothpick to create holes for eyes and nose. Insert 2 brown oblong sprinkles for eyes and 1 for the nose. Optionally, create holes for buttons and add colored oblong sprinkles. Insert 2 slivered almonds in the middle ball as arms.
  • Unwrap fruit snacks. For scarf, slice eight 5x1/2-inch strips. Fold each strip in half horizontally, leaving 1 inch on each end unfolded, then make small cuts at ends for fringe. Wrap around neck, slightly overlapping at shoulder. For hat base, cut eight 3/4-inch diameter circles of fruit snack. Place circle on snowman's head. Insert slivered almond halfway into the center. Trim off and discard 1/8 inch off bottom of gumdrop, slightly flatten bottom. Attach onto slivered almond to complete hat.
